RAIN OUT POLICY


In the event of rain and wet conditions on the grounds:

The Market will have to ask that if there are rainy wet conditions and we determine that it is not going to be productive day, that all vendors will have to vacate the grounds. This is due to insurance liability coverage, vendors staying on site without market personnel and with the market closed to the public will not be covered. This determination is also being made to avoid the grounds from being destroyed with ruts and mud pits.

We are working on a policy to determine when rain checks will be issued if managment determines to close the market for the day.

At this time, we will not collect on bad weather days before 8 am. If market is closed before that time no fees will be charged.

After 8 am, when rent is collected and before 10 am, If the market is closed a rain check will be issued.

Anything after 10 am will be considered a market day and all rents will have to be paid in full with no rain check issued.

Free space drawing will ONLY be held on days that rent is collected for a complete market day.

We will close the market day due to weather ASAP, once we determine that bad weather is going to continue beyond a time for a productive day.
